Mode of Action
Systemically absorbed by plants and transported through the vascular system. Insects ingest or absorb it, disrupting nerve communication by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.
Dosage & Application
- Cotton: Aphids, Thrips, Whiteflies, Jassids – 4.3 gm/kg seed.
- Okra: Aphids, Jassids – 2.86 gm/kg seed.
- Tomato: Aphids, Thrips – 6 gm/kg seed.
- Sunflower: Jassids, Thrips – 3.5 gm/kg seed.
- Wheat: Termites, Aphids – 1.75 gm/kg seed.
- Maize: Shoot Flies, Aphids – 3.5 gm/kg seed.
- Rice: Thrips, Green Leaf Hoppers – 1.5 gm/kg seed.
- Apply as a seed treatment at sowing time.
