Product Description
Katyayani NPK Bio Consortia is a powdered biofertilizer that combines beneficial microbes to enhance nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK) levels in the soil, improving overall soil fertility and promoting healthy crop growth.
How NPK Bio Consortia Works:
- Fixing Nitrogen: Certain bacteria, such as Azotobacter, capture nitrogen from the air and convert it into a form that plants can utilize, reducing the need for chemical nitrogen fertilizers.
- Solubilizing Phosphorus and Potash: The microbes in the consortia dissolve phosphorus and potash that are bound in the soil, making these nutrients more accessible for plant absorption.
- Promoting Plant Growth: The consortia produce growth-stimulating substances, including hormones and vitamins, which can enhance root development, improve germination rates, and boost yields.
- Improving Soil Health: By increasing microbial activity, NPK Bio Consortia enhances soil structure, aeration, and water retention, creating a healthier environment for plant roots.
Target Crops:
Applicable to a wide variety of crops, including sugarcane, paddy, tomato, chili, red gram, maize, millets, soybean, cotton, and many fruit and vegetable crops.
Dosage:
Use 250 grams for 1 to 2 acres, depending on soil conditions and crop stage. Mix 250 grams in 5 to 10 liters of water and let it solubilize for 10 minutes. Then, transfer the solution to 100 to 200 liters of water and apply immediately through drenching, drip, or flood irrigation. If soil moisture is sufficient, you can also apply it by broadcasting, mixing with organic manure or sand. Avoid using chemical fungicides and herbicides 15 days before and after application.
Benefits of Using NPK Bio Consortia:
- Provides Essential Nutrients: Contains beneficial microbes that help make nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium readily available to plants.
- Improves Soil Health: Enhances soil structure, drainage, and fertility through increased microbial activity, leading to healthier plants and higher crop yields.
- Reduces Reliance on Chemical Fertilizers: Acts as an alternative to synthetic fertilizers by promoting natural nutrient cycling in the soil.
